The regular meetings of OCGS are held the FIRST SATURDAY of each month at 9:00 AM. (with the exception
of July when there will not be a meeting if it coincides with Goshen’s celebration of Great American
Weekend). Check our Calendar of Events. The meetings are held in the Historic 1841 Court House,
101 Main Street, Goshen, NY. Following the regular monthly meeting, a program of genealogical interest
is presented most months in the Court Room located on the 2nd floor of the 1841 Court House at 10:30 AM.
You are invited to attend the presentation and the social time following the program and to enjoy the
ambiance of the courtroom.** The Research Room is NOT open during the meetings or programs but will open
following the program from Noon until 4:00 PM>
**The Court Room has been preserved as it was in the 1800s. With the exception of electrifying the ceiling chandelier,
and a few furniture changes, the court room, jury boxes, windows, tin and wall ceilings are original.
A visit for a program offering is an opportunity to "take a walk back in history". We invite you to join us and enjoy the experience.
